Conestoga
The Conestoga combines both worlds: a deck you load from the side or from above, closed in by a tarp mounted on a rolling frame.
Also known as : rolling tarp, retractable tarp trailer, curtain deck
For water-sensitive freight that still has to be loaded by overhead crane or forklift, it is the only right answer. No manual tarping, so no risk of a badly fitted tarp, and full opening in minutes.
The frame slightly reduces usable width and height compared with a bare deck: that is the price of the protection.
