Flatbed 48’ and 53’
The open deck is the reference trailer in materials transport: you load from the side, from above or by forklift, with no door to work around.
Also known as : deck, flat, platform trailer
Flatbed covers the vast majority of construction and manufacturing loads: steel, lumber, materials, structures, heavy palletized equipment. As long as the piece stays under the legal height once on the deck, it travels with no special permit.
The 53-foot version lengthens the deck without changing the other constraints, useful for long steel or for two-row loads.
