B-Train
A B-train couples two flatbed trailers behind the same tractor. The extra axles spread the weight over a greater length, which allows a payload a single semi-trailer cannot legally carry.
Also known as : bi-train, double trailer, B-train flatbed
This is the configuration to reach for when the constraint is weight rather than bulk: structural steel, lumber, dense materials. Where a single deck hits its axle limit half loaded, the B-train spreads the same weight across more bearing points and stays within legal limits.
The trade-off is manoeuvrability. Two trailers need clear access and wider turning room: we confirm site access with you before committing to this configuration.
What we load on it
- High-tonnage structural steel
- Lumber and dense materials
- Heavy palletized loads
- Long haul at maximum payload
