Special permits, escorts, approved routes and travel windows. It is complex, it is regulated, and that is exactly why we do it.
As soon as a load exceeds regulated dimensions or weights, it no longer travels freely: it travels under permit, on a specific route, at specific hours. Many brokers simply decline the call.
We take the whole file: assessing dimensions, applying for permits with Quebec’s Ministère des Transports and every other province crossed, planning the route, booking escort vehicles and coordinating the travel windows.
What that means for you: one point of contact, a price that includes permits and escorts, and a delivery date built on the real restrictions rather than on a salesperson’s optimism.

Measurement and classification
Exact dimensions once the piece is on the trailer, not catalogue dimensions. It is the total loaded height that triggers the permit.

MTQ for Quebec, plus one permit per province crossed. Lead times vary: we build them into the delivery date we quote.

Route and escorts
Bridges, overpasses and active construction all checked. Escort vehicles booked against the applicable thresholds.

Travel windows
Oversize loads move in daylight, outside rush hours, and are barred on certain holidays and long weekends.
